For best quality prints, set your camera to high resolution when taking pictures
Transfer your pictures to your computer via cable or card reader

Transfer your pictures to your computer
Before you can get started you need to install the software that came with your camera, and use the cables to connect your camera to your computer. Consult your camera manual for more information on how to set this up. Many people find it more convenient to use a device called a card reader. This allows for faster transfer times, and reduces the hassle of hooking up cables every time. Learn more

Send your pictures to Shutterfly from your computer
First take a few minutes to open a free Shutterfly account, then transfer your pictures to Shutterfly. Remember though, sending pictures over the Internet takes time. If you're using a dial-up modem allow a few minutes for each picture to reach Shutterfly. We have developed three easy methods to help you transfer your pictures to Shutterfly in the most convenient way possible.
