Tag a photo bookTagging photo books in Shutterfly Gallery helps identify the qualities that make each book special. But, what is a tag? A tag is a relevant keyword or term associated with a photobook that describes features of that photo book. Relevant tag words make searching easier. For instance, a photo book about travel to the historic monuments in Italy can be tagged with “Italy”, “travel”, and “monuments”. How do you tag a photo book? First you need to post your book. Sign in and click any “Post photo book” button in the Shutterfly Gallery which will take you to just the photo books in your “My Projects” page on My Shutterfly.
Select which photo book you’d like to post, and click the ‘Next’ button to proceed. Select the ‘Post this book’ link. If you don’t have any photo books created, you can start one from our Store page.
Once you’re back to the Shutterfly Gallery you will be prompted for information about the photo book you want to post, including the tags for your book. Simply enter words you would use to describe the photo book to others.
There are spaces for 4 tags, but you can add more tags by clicking the ‘Add more tags’ link. You may include letters, numbers, and underscores in your tag descriptions.
NOTE: Browse through our “tag cloud” on the home page of Shutterfly Gallery. The “tag cloud” is a fun and easy way to search for a photo book relevant to your interests.
