Sensei Yuri Isakovich was born in Russia. He began training in Karate in 1979 in Calgary. He received his Shodan under the training of Sensei Nishiyama and Sensei Yamaguchi. He has been a Karate Instructor/Club Owner for over 21 years. Sensei Yuri Isakovich holds four black belts: CSKA, JKA, Goju Karate and Kick Boxing. He is an NCCP Certified Coach (assistant Coach for the Alberta Winter Games in 1996 & 1998). He also an instructor for the Calgary Police Force.
