Software Applications Engineer (YZ-0203)

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include architecture, database schema, and software design, development, and implementation.
• Works on the design and development of scalable, data-intensive infrastructure software requiring a deep understanding of the technologies and architecture of the software as well as the production environment.
• Responsible for taking the product or component through the entire product life cycle from concept to shipping ensuring reliability and working out any performance issues.
• Integrates output devices and automated equipment used for printing, finishing, and shipping products.
• This position will be located in our Redwood City, CA facility located at 2800 Bridge Parkway, Redwood City, CA 94065.

Qualifications:

• MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree field
• 3 years or pre- or post- MS degree experience in the job offered or the field of software development

Experience to include:

• Programming object oriented software systems using Java programming language
• Designing database schemas for software applications using an Oracle database
• Writing Java server pages (JSP) hosted on a web server
• eXtensible Markup Language (XML)
